Tool Steel Plate
Tool steels are iron based alloys typically with additions of chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, or tungsten to combine with high levels of carbon to form carbide particles which impart outstanding wear and erosion resistance. The alloying elements also contribute to strengthening of the base material as well as some degree of corrosion resistance depending upon specific composition.
Typical applications include automotive. tool & die, machine blocks, gear blocks, holder blocks and machinery components.
